The Company:

Barstool Sports, a news and media company that grew into a household name through it’s wildly engaged community, came to Coast to help organize the strategy for their multiple business units and continue growing the brand.

The Challenge:

By the time Coast took over the accounts, there were 6 individual businesses rolled into the “Barstool Sports” account. Each business required a unique strategy to hit aggressive growth goals. Additionally, based on the news and media backbone of the brand, capitalizing on trending moments was critical.

The Solution:

Due to the size of the accounts, organization and consolidation were critical to finding winning campaigns and strategies. Building a strong foundation for creative testing on Meta while also implementing an Alpha-Beta campaign structure on Google set the stage for the next phase of Barstool’s growth.

Within these accounts, Coast then migrated winning strategies into the newest campaign types on both Meta and Google. Utilizing a strong product feed for Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns drove additional growth on Meta and creatively-driven PerformanceMax campaigns produced efficiency.

Throughout the engagement, Coast’s creative team was able to produce assets that aligned with pop-culture moments in both sports and media. These assets helped drive spikes in performance and added to the total revenue increase dramatically.

The Bottom Line:

Account Structures Built for Scale

Our creative-testing process allows us to systematically test creative on Meta while our Alpha-Beta structure powers growth on Google.
