The Company:

Olive My Pickle, a family-owned fermented foods company, came to Coast after having subpar experiences with multiple agencies. They wanted a long-term partner who could help them produce engaging content and scale.

The Challenge:

While some audiences are aware of the health benefits of fermented foods, many are not and this meant that education was going to be very important. To figure out what value props were moving the needle with these new audiences, Coast structured the ad accounts to split test creative, gather data, and iterate.

The Solution:

The first step in Coast’s creative-testing process is producing high quality advertising assets. To execute on production, Coast sourced UGC, coordinated a pro-photo shoot for product images, and utilized graphic design for static assets.

Producing this variety of Video, Motion Graphic, and Static assets allowed the Coast media buying team to systematically test and gather data on winning assets.

Data was tracked on an asset by asset basis and evaluated on Thumbstop Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, and Conversions. This creative-first approach, coupled with our expansion into modern campaign types on Meta and Google, was the key to increasing ROAS and driving sustainable growth.

The Bottom Line:

Creative-First Approach

Adjusting the creative strategy at the beginning of the engagement allows us to set a foundation for all future growth.

Modern Campaign Types

Google and Meta continue to automate more and more of their campaigns. The algorithm favors these, and so, they help scale.
